Appletree development raises concerns

“It’s against the law to meet after midnight,” cautioned one member of the City of Fountain Planning Commission as the four-hour session dragged late into the night.  

Wednesday’s meeting at Fountain City Hall for a hearing regarding development of land near Marksheffel Road, Jimmy Camp Road and the Appletree Golf Course was a remarkably amicable discussion, with members of the community expressing appreciation for the receptiveness of the commission and the developer, Morley Companies Family Development, to community requests for revisions.
